wikifolios

wikifolio - Social/Copy Trading

What are wikifolios?
wikifolios provide a new opportunity to invest. Private and professional persons can publish investment strategies through the social investment platform wikifolio. These virtual portfolios are fully transparent and trackable on wikifolio.com so that any interested person can follow all trades and comments of the trader.

wikifolio was founded in 2011 with the idea of giving every trader the opportunity to publicly operate their strategy, have their performance determined by an independent third party and gain followers. After more than ten years, some traders have emerged who have achieved returns of over 20% and sometimes over 30% per year, while suffering a lower maximum drawdown than that of common stock indices who lost around -40% at their peak. The high return is therefore not simply the result of increased risk-taking, but also of good risk management. Anyone who is not yet registered at wikifolio and wants to check out the wikifolio traders, their wikifolios and performances can register an account here for free.
How to invest in wikifolios?
Whoever is interest in wikifolio, can invest through his broker generally. Some of the brokers even offer regular saving plans on selected wikifolios.
For newbies as well as for experienced traders, wikifolio published an overview of different brokers. Additionally, some successful wikifolio trader provided helpful comments on them. The comparison between these brokers is available through this link.

Boersenradio Network on 22 Sep 2020
On 22 September 2020 I had a follow up with the Boersenradio Network, this time exclusively for my wikifolio leverage multi-strategies.
Boersenradio Network on 25 Feb 2020
On 25 February 2020 the german radio broadcast Boersenradio Network talked to me about my wikifolios and my investment strategies.
Applied strategies
In most of the listed wikifolios below the Crash Protection-strategy, systematic stockpicking strategies or a combination of both are applied.

My wikifolios (tradername ploutos)
All Systinvest-wikifolio could be splitted in three categories according to their objectives:
  • Strong outperformance should be achieved with the use of leverage while having higher drawdown risks.
    1. Leverage +3x Risk Management  (Crash Protection-strategy + trading strategies on single stocks)
    2. Leverage Multistrategies   (Crash Protection-strategy + multiple leveraged strategies)
    3. Marketcycles leveraged dynamically  (Crash Protection-strategy with leveraged products on equity indices)
  • Targeted return should more or less equals the benchmark return while having reduced drawdowns risks.
    1. Marketcycles   (Crash Protection-strategy with ETFs on equity indices)
    2. Alpha+Beta+Crash Risk Control  (systematic stockpicking strategy + Crash Protection-strategy)
  • Outperformance should be achieved without leverage while having more or less equal drawdowns risks.
    1. Systematic stockpicking   (pure systematic stockpicking strategy applied with german stocks)
  • Former wikifolios
    1. Closed wikifolios   (due to a limitation of 8 wikifolios per each trader some of the older wikifolios had to be closed)
